Could really use some help with new wheels

Hi everyone, I know this is the best place to ask this. I am getting some new wheels and tires very soon but want to get the biggest tires for a stock suspension without any rubbing. I would also like the tires to stick out a little bit like I saw on a few trucks here. The wheels I want are the **** Cepek DC2 and was thinking about Nitto terra grapplers. My other question was if I need to get a different back spacing for the wheels to get the tires to stick out a little. Suggestion on some other tires would be great. My truck is a 2010 150 XLT 4x4. Thanks a bunch.

Look into a 10" wide wheel, with atleast a 12" wide tire.

I'd suggest an 18x9 inch wheel with 5 inches of backspacing. These will stick out 2 inches farther than the OEM wheels and is a very common setup. 9 inch wheels with 4.5 inches of BS is also very common and will stick out 2.5 inches farther than stock. As for tires, I'd go with a 305/60-18 (33x12.50) or a 325/60-18 (33x13.00).

wandell do you think a 10" wide wheel would cause rubbing on a non leveled 4x4 09+?

Be careful what you wish for, tires that stick out just a slight bit will sling dirt, mud and everything else all down the side of your truck. Could lead to scratches or paint chips.

Yes, you would probably have to trim a little plastic, depending on what tire you go with .

I have 285/65/18 Terra Grapplers on my 2009 FX4. They are a vast improvement in size from the tires that come on the truck and the Terras are great. I have 50K miles on them and I an get another 10. I'm looking into 295/70/18s for my next set, but I think they may be too big. The 285s are about as big as you may want to go on an unlifted truck.
