See that is the part I'm not sure about I've read that it's part of the MAF right after the filter and then I've also read that it is right before the TB because then you get the temp after the intercooler which makes more sense to me. I think I may turn the key to run when I am getting a reading and disconnect the connector and see which one makes it turn off.

I really dont want to take it to the dealer because there is no intake air temp gauge in the truck stock so how do I explain my situation? My real question is does any body had the part number for the sensor and it's location? I'll just buy the sensor from Ford and install it my self.

I'm thinking that this could be making the truck run rich and wasting has.
Sounds like a bully dog issue.....contact them and let the know so it can be fixed....something was overlooked during their beta testing....

well i know on the lightnings that they have 2 IAT sensors, one before the intercooler in the air box and one after inside the intake manifold.

Well I've made some observations. 1st the bully dog tune has been removed and I'm only using it to monitor functions.

2nd the intake temp switching to 0 happens on a stock tune as well. It seams that the intake temp operates fine until it goes below 32degrees then like a switch at 32 or below it just flat lines at 0. I'm starting to think this could be some of the bad milage that people have been reporting with the eco's in the winter. Because it seams when the truck goes to 0 it runs rich. I just wish more people could confirm that this is also happening to there trucks.
