I've done it in the past with a GM vehicle...you just have to have the right tool/programmer!

Yeah 36k hit my 09 quickly. However the saga continues, last week the check engine light came on made the trip to the dealer said the code was for (run lean?) at the dealer now for same light...fml... Also noticed a bit of pulsing when climbing a hill in 6th gear, contacted ford customer service.... So well see I will keep you all posted. Still love this truck it's amazing when it's not in the shop haha.

Gentlemen, This thing is still not fixed that's the bad news the good news, ford is looking at the issue, some engineer has a big update/reprogram for thes trucks ... That have issue, the code isn't a run lean it's catalytic efficiency, check engine light 3 times and 3 trips. As I said earlier I contacted ford and they are sending me the premium care package for free, so kinda nice oil changes and stuff like that. At this point I'm waiting for the update/ reprogram and hoping it doesn't give out before then.

 

no doubt. only time i do something like that is when it'd be my dollar fixing it and not the stealership's...

 

Ok more in the saga of my Eco bust... Boost :/
It went back in the shop for it's first oil change yesterday and the reprogram I had been waiting for was in, waited around for two plus hours, and get it back drives good looks good feels good light is of and I'm like great, service manager calls I was supposed to be told to bring it back on Friday so that I can get a new catalytic converter assembly put on sooooo. Not done yet but moving in the right direction.

Sorry for the lack of puncuation. I'm at work and if the IPhone doesnt do it on its own. I'm not going to either.

 

Ouch, that's bad news! Hope to never have those problems!
