My latest mod.

Finally I got back home and got to install my center console. I still need to get two more trim pieces and then it will be set. I removed the floor shifter and made a little storage box (if you will) in place of it. I never seen this mod done on the newer style, but a few times on the last style. Its pretty darn nice and I really enjoy it over the jump seat. Hope you all enjoy.
Take care

Id rather have the seat instead of the center shift, but its what my truck came with. dont feel like changing it either. It works fine.
nice swap

Nice job. The flow through console with shifter was one of the main selling points for me. Love mine.

Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it! I did lose a seat and four cup holders in the process, but I did gain more storage, a more comfortable console, more outlets/ vents to the rear, and a look that I think is pretty rare in a XLT that is pleasing to my eyes. The jumpseat was a nice touch, and at times I know I will miss it just for the extra person factor. All in all though, I thoroughly enjoy it, and love the present to myself after my tour. Thanks again for the compliments.

I made a little tray. Made a little mold out of wood and them made the tray using fiberglass. I then used a rubberized spray. Have a great Christmas!

**also on a sidenote, if anyone is interested in leatherette seat covers, go to http://www.gtcovers.com. Mine are amazing!!!

I like the idea of using the storage bin in place of the shifter. Wonder how hard it would be to remove the floor shifter to the column and keep the flow through console.... Kind of looks similar to the new super duty's how the flow through console is set up.

That looks nice, brother! About 80% done on my swap in my '08, and after looking at the NBS trucks, I wouldn't have even known where to begin. Looks like yours went in seamlessly, more pics when you get done
