Has anyone replaced just the Sony sub woofer with an aftermarket one, but still used the sony box and amp?



Just curious if a woofer with a good sensitivity rating and low RMS rating would sound better than the factory one.

I put poly-fill inside the stock housing. Seemed to help it a bit.
I think a 2 ohm, dual voice coil, shallow mount 8" would help.
