Undercover swingcase location driver or passenger

I know it is a toss-up but who finds the passenger side location for the swingcase better then driver side. i placed mine on the driver side , i
think the pass side would be great also. this was the easiest
install i have had. i am thinking to purchase the passenger side
still pricey for a plastic box . i do like this box just my rant

Personally, I went with both sides when I bought mine since I wanted the extra storage. They were pricy but I plan on having the truck for many years to come so it was easy to make the decision. It did not make sense for me to put a traditional toolbox on the truck and lose any of my 5.5 ft bedspace. Just my two cents...

Are these pretty rugged boxes? I always wondered if they would warp after sitting in the hot sun for a while with a load in them.

Mine are holding up great and I have had for about 18 months in the Texas heat and my passenger side has probably 30 lbs in it with a chain, jumper cables, spare tools, etc.

The only problem I have found though is that I must have mounted one side incorrectly because at rest in the closed position, gravity is always pulling the box away from the bed which has caused the mounting screws to pull out twice already. I used Loctite the last time I remounted but that did not seem to help either. I'm not sure how I can get away from this problem but I haven't put too much time or thought into it yet...
