2009 - 2014 F-150

What else could Ford be bringing with 2013 mid-cycle refresh?

Ryan Arciero did pretty well in this VW TDI Touareg. And I think that I remember the 3.5l Ecoboost in the 1000 also.

I highly doubt that we will ever see an Ecoboost V-8.

So how soon does everyone thing direct injection will be added? Or the 8-speed will make an appearance? As soon as the 2013 mild "refresh" or not until the next full redesigned model bows in mid-2014 (2015 model year)?

If I has to guess, the 2015's. God knows Ford seems to be content trudging along with the same stuff mechanically for far too long.....

I think the 2015s most likely. Upgrading everything every 3 years seems a little ridiculous. Seeing how the new 6-speed just came out in 2009.

8 speed? Aren't we getting to a point where a good CVT would be cheaper and less complex?

To meet the CAFE standards, they need all the help they can get.

Here's the Ford link

And one on the Dodge... I thought I had heard Dodge was trying to get it out first, but maybe I misread something. I can't remember

New headlights and grilles for sure, but will they change all 10+ grilles for '13 (before the big change in '15) or just change a few of the grilles?

Hopefully Ford is listening and changes the tail lights too because they were pretty much universally disliked since '09. It's time for a change to the tails. Come on, Ford!
