Anyone else? Squealing window on 2011
I just got my truck back from the dealer, having them check out a squealing window for the second time.
Window makes a VERY LOUD squeal when rolling down. No noise going back up.
First time around, they just lubed the window channels and sent it on its way. That worked for about 3 days, then the hideous squeal was back.
This time they tore the door apart and lubed pretty much everything that has to do with the window. Hope it works this time.
Service writer says he's seen this issue fairly often.... wonder if anyone else out there is seeing this?

I have the same issue... was not fixed. I am not bringing it back for a special warranty trip (as the dealers not close by) but next oil change, I am going to bring it up again
I know its going to be one of those, turn the music louder so you don't hear it type fixes

I have the same issue on my passenger side front window on my 2011 crew cab. It is a little frustrating when the truck is only 5 months old. When my 2000 Chevy Tahoe had the problem after being 9 years old, I applied a silicone lube to the window track. I tried other types of lubricants but they did not work. The silicone lube resist dirt & moisture unlike grease. Eventually, I will apply the silicone lube to mine when I have time. I hate to remove door panels because something always breaks or gets scratched.
I had the same issue with my 2011 but it's seemed to go away. I didnt do anything to fix the issue. But I do use my window a lot more than the average driver so maybe the over useage I do fixed it. My window goes down and back up over 60 times in 3 hours for work. So maybe just sit there for like 10 mins putting it up and down? But best of luck finding out the issue!
Just my passenger front door did it, cleaned the inside of the window a few times and havent heard it since.

My passenger front door currently has a panel rattle. Also, the drivers side passenger window switch lowers the window but only raises when the outside glass is dry and warm. If it's below 40-50* F and/or wet, it will not raise the pass side window. I have to lean over and use the pass side window switch to raise the window. I found this out by lowering the window when it was cool and wet with heavy dew/condensation.
I'm really not liking the quality of this 2011 F150.

It just pisses me off that it started doing this almost as soon as I drove it off the lot......
Yep my pass window but went away. I noticed today using my rear sliding window when I open it has a loud crunch type noise and also when shut. I thought I got tape caught in it from my temp tag but nope.
