I coated mine prior to installing. At least I don't hear the rocks banging the inside of the well on bed sides any more!

I gotta figure, with the dealer undercoating, my two cans of undercoating, and now the liners, I should be rust free around the rear fenders. Just finished applying another tube of sylicone around the lip to make sure I didn't miss anything. Bring on winter!

I also got some 18" wide black rubber faced coveyor belting and finished the enclosure job by attaching it to the back of the liner and running it back above the shackle to the inside of the bumper. Based off my other trucks and what I can see on this one, the road crud/mud slings back and builds inside the cavity along the bed and inside the bumper then rust starts.
can you elaborate on the conveyor belting has where yopu put that... Maybe some pics?

I had made my own skirts for the front and rear wheel openings about a year ago (see pics in this thread):

Its been through one winter and all looks really good however mine does not overlap the inner well it basically hangs from the leading edge of the opening by fastening the flexible rubber skirt to the panel seams so there is no place for salt, snow or water to settle in.

Or any muscle car after market reproduction parts supplier should have them. They were about $30.00 cnd and most likely cheaper if you get them from a US supplier.

I have not been able to find the rear liners any where. Even Rugged Liners has no idea how I can get them... THEY MAKE THEM! Can you tell me where you ordered them from?

Well . Here I go pulling out my wallet for yet another credit card order. Those are sweet.

If I had just opened CNN.com to check current events, I wouldn't be obsessed about getting those!

I ordered the 60" LED tailgate light bar yesterday, figuring that would scratch my itch for at least a couple of weeks.

I figured wrong.

How did the install go?
I've now put about 300 miles on the truck since I installed mine and they haven't budged.

Thanks for posting about these liners.

This has bugged me since I've had my '09 FX4. The front wheel wells have a nice plastic fender lining from the factory, but nothing in the rear.

I remember my poor old 1995 F-150 rusting out the rear wheel wells and want to avoid that.

Where I live, we basically have 5 months of winter, and they use a 50/50 mix of salt and sand on the roads. Last spring, I had piles of nasty salt laden sand laying on the main frame, in the frame pockets, in the bed pockets, and lots of other places up inside the wheel well.

I was just washing my truck this afternoon, and was telling my wife about these new liners. She reached up into the wheel well, and came out with a handful of sand......I must have missed that part!

Going to order a pair (I guess the ebay link is the only place to get them), then when they come in, I'm getting under there with the pressure washer and get it all clean. Then a hand cleaning, and a good dose of Fluid Film everywhere. This is good timing so I can get this all done before they start spreading that garbage on the roads again in about a month.

I'm really wanting to get these but I'm having a little trouble picturing where the silicone bead is being put. Could some kind soul elaborate maybe with a pic please?

In the meantime I think I may have seen what the OP was talking about, but if someone can let me know for sure that would be great.

Just ordered a set. Here we go.
