Accessory question..
I am looking to install some ventshades/window visors, whichever you may call it on my new 2011 Screw. In the past I have always used the Ford ones, which stick on the outside and I have always had trouble with them coming loose. I am wanting to try the ones that go in the window channel, but not sure which brand would be best, AutoVent Shade or Weathertech or EGR???? I like how the weathertech look and how the come clear down by the mirror. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

My AVS stick-ons are still solid after 18 months. A pal of mine has them on his 2001 since his truck was new and they are solid, also.
I had a detail shop do mine along with window tinting, so they warrantied them for the life of the vehicle.
$120 for 4 vent visors and tinting 2 windows. Reasonable.
EDIT:
Was I to have gotten the in-channel vent visors from AVS, the shop wanted me to sign a release form stating they would not stand responsible if the window motor were to mal-function because of the added resistance when rolling them up.
My '10 does not have the 'bounce-back' feature, either.

i think the in-channel ones that cause that problem are the ones that are really thick. Also the Weathertech, even though they look really good, the part that goes down the channel behind the mirror, are the ones possibly catching the most , esp by the mirror. I believe if i go with any, it wont be the ones that go clear down to the mirror. Anyone have any pics of the in channel ventshades??

Just checked the WeatherTech website and it says they use the same part numbers for 2008 and 2009+. Let me know and I'll take some pictures of them tonight.
