This is kinda cool. Toyota and Ford to team up
I was reading Autospies and saw a news article saying Toyota and Ford are teaming up to build Hybrid pick up and large SUVs.
Its cool cause I drive a 2011 Lexus RX450 Hybrid SUV and LOVE IT!! 300hp and its getting about 7.5 liters per 100 km Or about 31mpg. I hope Ford gets to use the warranty as well cause Lexus offers a 96 month / 160,000km Hybred warranty.
Anyways I wanted to share that cool bit of info.

Hopefully it pans out..... could yield some pretty neat economical vehicles.

Hybrid vehicles are POS's if you ask me. Now instead of having one motor and all components to worry about you have thousands of dollars in batteries, electric motor, gas motor and more. Thats just more stuff to break. The key to fuel economy is keeping it simple and practical. What happens if you get in a bad wreck in a prius? I don't wanna find out.

What you are referring to would be hybread (the bread you eat is spelled with an 'a' in it).
Hybred is what happens when your parents are cousins...but you should already know that.
PS: I'm not really slamming you, it just peeves me when you jump on someone for spelling something wrong, and then you don't know how to spell it yourself.

Ford's best interest would be to stay far away from that train wreck. I wouldn't trust toyota one bit. They probally just want to learn how to build a truck properly. Ford's hybrid systems are tons better than theirs and Ford's regular vehicles get better MPG's. Why would they even consider or stoop to toyotas level?

Either way I fixed it. We can all relax now.
HYDRO1-I totally agree with you!!! Toyota is trying to figure out how to build a real truck! The last good truck they made was the last generation Tacoma. The only thing their big bad Tundra has going for them is 0-60. I seen one the other day with a 24ft camper behind it and the rear bumper was about 12 inches off the ground!! It is in Ford's best interest to keep their ball in their own court. Now, if Ford and Chevy combined, that would be better!
