I have a 2010 xlt s-crew that I'm having problems with. When ever it rains or goes through the car wash the back up sensors will sound solid like if something is directly behind it when in reverse and the sync system dissapers so only my am/fm/cd player work but nothing else does. Any one else have this problem or heard of this before? The ford dealer said they have never heard of this issue even after they replicated the problem. They put in a trouble call to who knows where and I'm stuck paying for a truck that drives me nuts. Anybody have a clue what to do?

For a temporary solution til it gets fixed .does turning the system off work?

 

Shutting off the back up sensors manually every time I get in the truck temporarily silences it.
I haven't heard a word back from the dealer and it's been a week. Pretty rediculous. Makes me think twice about buying a ford just because of the customer service.
