I look yesterday behind the wheel, and it looked like there was plenty of room from all the other components. I'll get some more pictures uploaded by wed night to show how close everything looks.

In some pictures the stockers look horrible , but in others they look great (as in your case). I echo the darker head and tail lamps comment and she's perfect.

I ordered the wheels and tires from Sun Coast Customs in Florida. I found them through ebay, but I called them and they were able to give me a little better price. I think it was just shy of $2200 for everything including mounting, balancing and shipping.

 

Thanks for the perfect cam angle, used photoshop to throw my tire/wheels from my 06 on your truck, I don't think fat profile tires look at home on the new body style, might as well sell mine before I trade it in for my ecoish-boost.

Great Looking Truck! You just need to finish blacking it out now. What kind of ventshades do you have? Are they the in-channel type?

 

Awesome lookin truck dude ! What rear axle ratio are you runnin ? 3.73 ? Did the tires have any effect on overall rpm ? Very nice job....

 

Looks good.. IMO: Paint the emblems, HD heads and tails, NiteShades on the mirror reflectors, Get black nerd bars, Paint exhaust tips. Look in my old album of my 05 FX4 for ideas.

 

I know that a current fad is all black .... but since your truck ain't "black" .... I'll offer my $0.02

That truck (http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w...8/rsz_fx4a.jpg) would really look great with a 2/4 - f/r lowering from stock and keeping the side rails to bring it closer looking to the ground .... and I'm sorry .... I just do not like the 09 up style of FX4 lettering, too "square" or "blocked" for me.

But wait a minute .... now I see more pics and it is black and the tires not so smooth?

Now ..... Now I think you should add the Raptor,s hood with the vents the grille with the big honking " F O R D " lettering ... ( and maybe even the fender vents )

... and then just enjoy.

Maybe "Line-X" the step rails.

Then I would act dumb if anyone asked me about the vents and grille.




I love the Grille the most.
