This something we considered, however the truck will primarily be used by myself as the driver, and way more off-road use than on road. When I have passengers, it is because I am off-road. My wife will never really get in the truck, when we go out, we always take her car.

I definitely don't recommend this is something that others do. As a matter of fact, I believe it is somewhat against the law in the US. I live in MX, so per above, not so worried about it.

BTW, The airbag is not covered, it was removed.

Please do not do this at home. I would also warn anyone who would consider this that doing this also voids warranty on the truck. Again something that did not concern me, but should be carefully considered.
