Indash nav/dvd player question

Hey guys..

I really want to be able to watch/play dvds in my truck without being in park. I know this is a safety hazard but is there a way to bypass this? Do they make a part?

I want this for the passenger in the vehicle and for the driver to at least listen to lol

I know aftermarket ones you can

I know there is one called a lockpick. AFAIK its the only one on the market? About $240 new I think.

I am in the same boat though, it would be nice to pop in a movie for the wife when we're driving. And allow you to input directions while driving (not you, the wife of course) but it's a PITA that they dont have sensors to say, if you have a passenger, allow them to input map directions.

I think if it allows you to make adjustments to nav and watch a movie in park...then there must be a wire you can cut or ground that would tell it its parked...wouldn't you think...open to suggestions....thx
