I just acquired a new 2011 XLT Ecoboost 2-1/2 weeks ago.

I got in the truck this morning and go to back out of the driveway, and the truck lets out a big howl, identical to the sound my 04 FX4 made when the parking brake was stuck engaged.

I'm almost certain it's either the same issue (frozen cam) or the brake shoes are adjusted to tight to the drums, either way, I'm a bit annoyed that I've run into this again. And I don't use the brake either.....

Last time was worse though, the brake would stick engaged on the 04 and the truck would vibrate so hard it was undrivable. When I got in there to fix it, the parking brake shoes were nothing but dust. Granted it was a used vehicle and the issue had probably been going on for a while before I got the truck.
