Give me your input

I have a 2010 screw cab, dark blue, lariet. The factory tail lights must go! So Im torn between going with harley tail lights or getting some leds that have a solid red cover, pretty much like the 04-08 F150s tail lights. Im not gonna take off the chrome grill, steps, door handles or mirrors so Im not sure if the harleys would be the right "look" or not, what do you guys think? Also if anybody has put harley headlights on and kept the chrome grill, Id love to see pics of it! Thanks for your input!

Since you're keeping the other pieces of chrome I would go with red led's. You could always take your factory ones to a body shop and have them "candy" all of the light except the reverse. Basically painting the tail red to cover the chrome.

I would go with LED's....I have the smoked Recon ones and absolutely love them and if you are wanting red ones they just came out with those about a month ago.

I know they are a little pricey but they are well worth it in my opinion. You can get 15% off if you simply enter FB15 at checkout, which is their Facebook discount.

People have put the Harley tails on trucks that have all chrome; they look good IMHO. They're on my wish list.

You should check out the thread about painting the clear/white looking border of the tails. I don't mind it soo much on my Silver FX4, because it blends in. But on your Black truck, I think you would like it a lot if you painted the outside edges. People have actually been painting it from the back side of the light, and it turns out great!

Here ya go ...... take a look
