? w/$750 brochure coupon & purchasing new 2011 F-150
Hello.
I'm in the process of purchasing a new 2011 4x2 Regular Cab 3.7L V6 6-SPD AUTO STX series. I was reading this forum last night and read about the $750 coupon you may get when you have Ford mail a brochure to you and select buy within 30 days. I did that last night. I also read a couple of comments in some threads about waiting until the last day of May to get your best price at a dealership on a F-150. I have a few questions. Will I get this $750 coupon, and will I get it before the end of May? Does this $750 coupon work with all rebates and the 0% APR for 60 months. What web site will give me the exact dealer invoice on the F-150. I have tried Yahoo Autos and Edmunds, but I can't get the dealer invoice to match with the window sticker pricing and options. There seems to be a +$385 difference on the MSRP from the window sticker and the web sites. I am also having problems adding the options that come with my truck. I have a dealership offering to sell me the truck on their lot at dealer invoice, but I still think the price is above invoice.
One last question for now. I have another dealership that says they can get me the color truck I want, but it is not on their lot now. They want me to come in and talk to them. Since they have to get this truck for me, will they still be willing to sell at or below dealer invoice? I'm guessing they will only get this truck if they know I'm going to buy it, so I don't know if the waiting until the last day of May will help, but I would like to wait until I have the $750 coupon.
Thanks for any advice and opinions.

I requested a brochure on the 2011 F-150 and I'd say it took about two weeks to get it. The coupon is inside the last page and says "$750 Private Cash Just For You". It will have your name/address and a unique customer ID number. The top reads: "Not everyone gets $750 off a new Ford vehicle. In fact, this is a special offer you won't see advertised anywhere else. To take advantage, bring this brochure with you when you purchase or lease a new Ford vehicle. Note: You can use this $750 private cash in addition to any current public offers."
The fine print at the bottom reads: "Exclusions apply. See dealer for details. May not combine with other private or commercial offers, and the Focus Technology Rebate program. A/Z/D Plan ineligible. Nontransferable out of household. Limit one per household. U.S. residents. Must redeem using original offer, no duplicates accepted. Prior purchases not eligible. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock between 4/29/2011 and 6/28/2011. See dealer for details. Note to dealer: Claim in VINCENT using #33502 and customer ID."
Now, I used one on my last truck and you can use them with all rebates and discounts, to include the extra $500 for military. I used it with my X-Plan PIN as well. Some other people have said the dealer can look you up in the VINCENT system and if your in there, they will go ahead and give you the discount. Another words, if you try and buy while the brochure has been printed and mailed, you may still get it. $750 is $750.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Just an update on the $750 certificate. I just got an email today with my $750 private cash certificate information. Now I just have to decide if I should buy now or wait until the last day of the month. I just got back from a dealership that said they could get me the color truck I want, and of course they couldn't get it for me. They said if they were able to get it from another dealership on a trade, the price would be above invoice anyway since they would lose there holdback. They also said buying on the last day of the month really makes no difference, unless 1 sale is going to hit their number for the month. They offered me deals on the F-150s they had on their lot. But, they had no 4x2 Reg Cab STX. Any thoughts on buying the last day of the month?

So you got an e-mail with the $750 coupon info? Cool. How long did that take after the request? I was planning on buying this week, but just found out about this $750 coupon yesterday, and will totally wait to save $750.
I requested the brochure last night, but would like to not have to wait 2+ weeks for the risk of the truck Im interested in selling..

I don't really put much stock in the end of month thing, especially if you're using a plan with letters (A/X/D etc).
One thing to think about with the websites in trying to compare the invoice prices is that Ford raised their costs of cars right around that Tsunami/Earthquake in Japan (maybe the other websites haven't kept up to date). I bought my truck in March and for giggles researched the price a little later (after the event in Japan) and noticed that both the base price went up and the price for the candy apple red paint went up. These two increases totaled around $600 to $700 bucks in my truck, so I could see that playing into your discrepancy.
