Removing dash tray

I want to remove the tray on the top center of my dash so I can modify it for my GPS. I've seen others that have a mat insert and a couple of screws underneath, but mine is one piece and seems to be "snapped" in somehow. Anyone know how it comes out? I tried to pry it a little, but I don' want to bust it. The truck is a 2011 Lariat.

Take the mat off the top and you'll see the screws you need to remove.

It doesn't have a mat. It's one piece plastic.

If it's 2011 it has a rubber mat on it and the screws are underneath

It must be a one off then. They all have stiff rubber mats that are snapped in place and the screws are underneath

That's what I was thinking......but the OP says otherwise. I can't find anything that shows them without the mat.

I even went as far as trying a test pry to get it off. Glad I stopped to do a little research
