Here you go, this came out a few years back for a 2012 Ford hydrogen truck. I'm assuming it was just a concept truck and never made it any further, but I think it looks sick!

I saw the production timeline for 2011-12 models for the remaining of the year. If memory serves 2012 Job 1 doesnt start until October, so order guides would probably be out sometime in July / August time frame?

Im basing that on the fact that 2012 Super Duty order guides came out early May and 2012 production is schedule for late July.

I asked about the order window for 2011 F-150 and was told next week is the last week, so production will probably happen for another 6-8 weeks. Remember, 2011 F-150 started production mid Nov last year, about 4 months later than typical.

Hopefully they find a Candy Red replacement color (still cannot order it) and the EB Screw gets the 36 gallon tank.

Thanks for the info. I'll probally order in mid July to make sure it's a 2011 for the rebates.

I just got this link off blueoval for all vehicles FORD makes if anybody is interested

Good info Hydro1.

Any guesses on the amount of incentives they may post for the 2011 to help clear out inventory as they go into the fall?

I'd say they will probally offer $500 more by years end (2011's). GM will probally do their usual massive incentive and toyota has already dropped a goose egg. So, with any luck Ford will beef up the 2011 incentives beyond $500 to move inventory..and I'm hoping my order will reap the benefits??

I would be almost willing to bet it will be a lot more than just $500. Of course this takes into consideration how much unsold inventory is sitting on dealer's lot. The more unsold...the higher the rebates.

^ I meant $500 more than current offers of $3500-$4500 (depending on area). so around 5k total.

Ford Insider said that the 2012 will now have a Max Diesel Tow package with the new 4.4L Turbo Diesel along with a 12,500 Max tow with 1250 hitch rating.

The package now comes with 4200 lb front axle and 4400 lbs rear axle for a GVWR of 8000 lbs or a payload of 1800 lbs (due to the heavier Diesel engine) on the Super Crew 4WD config. An option now available on Max Diesel Tow package "Super Crew" is the Heavy Duty Suspension with an 8500 lbs GVWR and a 4400 lbs front axle and 4800 lbs rear axle for a payload of 2300 lbs (with Crew Cab 4X4 config).

The Diesel Tow Package also comes with an upgraded transmission. The diesel didn't have any specifics but is rumored to have 375 Hp and 650 lbs of torque.

The Diesel Max Tow and HD Suspension package will also have a new indentifier on the door and tailgate but unsure at this time what it will be. Diesel max tow/HD Suspension package is said to list at $4000, which sounds decent for what you get.

Most of the other features and options are carrying over.

BTW, this is only a fantasy that I'm hoping to see in the 2012 and newer. Here's to hoping.
