Thanks, but decided against the grille inserts. Actually, I'm not doing anything else to the truck and thinking about selling it.

I also want to see this truck. I'm trying to figure out of the pearl finish is in the clearcoat or the paint itself. I have a customer who wants this done on his white '09 Platinum.

OP, that looks great! I like it, very original. I was thinking about grill inserts but I like the stock grill inserts better. However, I want a different look and you hit it right on the mark. I will definitely consider this idea.

Man, those black and white ones look pretty bad ***. What color are the stock surrounds before painting?
