LED Head/Tail lights

Hey guys,

Anyone had any experience with these? I really like the way they look (and would look on my black truck). I just have no idea if they are of any quality.

I know nothing about CCFL headlights. In fact, until today, I didn't even know there were fluorescent heads.

(and d@mn, this site costs me more money every time I log on. The mod list just gets bigger - I never did that when I had the Murano)

Those are just projector housings. They're designed to use incandescent bulbs in the projector housing. The only thing that is close to an LED on it is the Cold Cathode Florecent Lamp tubes that illuminate the angel eyes

Ah, so you just put your old bulbs in there? That's just fine by me.
Now the question about the tails, because those are LEDs...

If you have not taken a look at
www.v-leds.com
i would suggest going there. they have a great selection of LED replacement lamps for everything.

if you plan on keeping the stock rear tails, or even replacing them with different lenses, these LEDs are top rate. i had one which had one burnt out led out of 8. and they replaced right away. looked like bad solder job which i could have fixed myself.

i still have all stock lenses. however everything is LED.

i plan on getting some pics up this week.

have a good one. good luck with the truck. and your right. there is no end to spending money!

I'm not so much into whether the tails are LED or not, my big question is for those tails that I linked to, are the parts they use any good or will I be replacing the LEDs that are in them.

I most like the black look of the housing. Same with the heads.

I was hoping someone on here might have tried them out. Pics would be even better.

Thanks everyone!

The company's sealing of these headlights and tail lights are a little less then desirable. Ask me how i know......b/c I own both the headlights and taillights. I took the headlights off b/c after about 4 months they were holding enough water in them to become a fish tank...

the hyper flash can be fixed with load resistors on the tail light wires. Don't be suprised if the LEDs arent that bright, however

Does that mean that the stock bulbs won't work? I am assuming that the truck has incandescents since they're so weak.

You're welcome.

do you want pics with or without the fish in them? lol Seriously though...i dont think i have any pics of when they were on the truck. I might put them back on again though after i reseal them. They use to always fog up on me, so i chalked it up to just a bad seal somewhere...then when i took a closer look at them i was like..WTF...there is 3 inches of water that was in the bottom area by the turn signal...on BOTH lights! no wonder i always had moisture...there was always water in it!

The rear tail lights worked better for me...but ONCE in a while dependingon the outside temp and humnidity..i might get a touch of haze on the inside of them.

i'm actually going to just heat them up, pull them apart...clean the inside. and reseal them myself..then they'll bne good to go again!
