Filled up this mornign for $95.00. Ouch, how has your driving changed since the prices have gone up? Are you reconsidering certain mods??

it hasn't. no mod is going to pay for itself if you are going for MPG. i bought a truck, not a prius so i have no reason to complain about the cost to fill up.

Meh, I hit $93.15 on my last fill up at $4.05 for premium. Haven't changed how I drive either.

Driving less is the only way you'll save any real money on fuel, or trading in the F150.

I just paid $4.59 for premium the other day.. It was $.20 higher than diesel!

Pretty ****ty if you ask me.. But I will continue to drive my truck like I normally do.. Since I work from home I don't put a lot of miles on it.

I hit $105 filling up my F250 the other day...at $3.99/ gallon. Sad thing, it would have taken more had the pump not shut off at $105. The good thing, the last station I filled up shut off at $100, so now I know where to fill up to get it closer to full without having the swipe the card twice!

I'm looking for a car to drive, not just to conserve fuel since I don't drive very much (I work from home as well), but the short trips to take the kids to school and day care are really hard on the diesel. I will save the diesel for towing the fiver.

Assuming you had the 36 gallon option, my math skills make that a $176 fill from riding on fumes. How's that sound for scary?

You could always go this route.

Personaly I don't see why gas is getting so high. Are the oil companies stocking up their bank accounts for tougher times? I'll keep driving my F150 but to think how much gas prices have risen in the past couple of years is crazy.
With my political viewpoint, having the government control something else in my world like gas prices is out of the question. So, then what do we do to get get this to change?

Just bend over and take it I guess.

Its usually about $75-$80 for me to fill up. I am actually really considering selling my truck and getting a newer car. I'd hate to let my truck go but I cant afford my rent with these prices. I would save at least $150 a month getting a 4 banger car. Especially since I have to fill up every 5 days or so. I have 3 different jobs throughout the day so I am constantly driving.

I have about 1 more month I won't have to spend a darn penny for my F150 on gas so let it go up, I don't care.

I got a new DD 3 years ago and moved my truck to recreational use only. Now I'm looking for an 8.1L Suburban as hopefully prices fall with the current fuel prices.
