Ok guys, I have a 2010 Screw with the 4.6L 3V. I want to put a SI/DO exhaust that is QUIET like the factory exhaust. I just want the DUAL exhaust look but not the RUMBLE. Any recommendations as to how to achieve this?

It may produce some rumble, but it would be minimal.


Try and keep whatever you choose a straight through type muffler since your truck came with one from the factory...


Thougt of adding a Y to your stock muffler?

 

I have thought of adding a Y-pipe, but the muffler shop told me that there wasn't enough room to add one to my stock muffler.

 

I thought about that after my post.

I put an IMCO SI/DO muffler that is very quiet. It gave the truck a much deeper tone but no much louder. I love the sound and there is absolutely ZERO drone. Very little cabin noise at all even on hard acceleration. Just a deeper sounding tone that the truck definitely needed. Muffler shop recommended this muffler to me when I told them what I wanted.
