HELP: Identify part and where it belongs

Particulars -
  • 4.6L 3V
  • RH ( passenger ) side of the engine.
  • in the area between the intake and valve cover.
  • near the COP / fuel injector of the #1 cylinder.
While cleaning-up the engine bay I found the following part laying loose and I need your help in identifying the part and where it belongs ...

*Identification on the top is:
CSA
>PA66-GF33<
Though a Google indicates that it's just a type of black plastic designation.

*The inside top has a 2 stamped on it. The curved portion of the part fits / mates-to something that is cylindrical and has a 1¼" diameter (approximate measurement).
I've been to the local FoMoCo dealership service and parts departments and

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Sorry ... No cash prizes or awards. Just a (virtual) hearty handshake and a pat on the back ( which sure beats a slap in the belly with a wet trout ).
.

It is a cover that fits over that gear clamp at the front of the passenger side where you say you found it. I will upload a photo to illustrate

Yes, good work Mike. Good pic and we all learned something.

Good thing too, cuz this is the kinda thread that would end up having 100 "guesses" by the experts, all blowing smoke out their ****.

Thanks
