Particulars -

• 4.6L 3V
• RH ( passenger ) side of the engine.
• in the area between the intake and valve cover.
• near the COP / fuel injector of the #1 cylinder.

While cleaning-up the engine bay I found the following part laying loose and I need your help in identifying the part and where it belongs ...I've been to the local FoMoCo dealership service and parts departments and

Some sort of hose clamp?

 

It is a cover that fits over that gear clamp at the front of the passenger side where you say you found it. I will upload a photo to illustrate

 

There ya go...The gear clamp over the yellow line...the plastic black cover goes over that guy.

Total fluke that I just happened to have knocked mine off while cleaning one time and recognized it.
