How to trim?

Even though I have a 6inch lift with my 35s, they still rub on full turn and reverse (which is pretty much used all the time). I know the key is to "trim" the front fenders a bit, but what do I actually trim? Does anyone have pictures?

Get some one to back it up and see where it rubs

Take the truck off road and after everything is dry. Watch for rub spot in the fender.

I can tell the plastic part underneath the front bumper is kind of torn up but when I have it flexed at full turn there looks like theres plenty of room but when I hit a bump it rubs again

I also have a 6" lift with 35's on my truck. Here are some pictures of where I trimmed my valance on my 09 in order to keep it from rubbing. I masked it off to get the shape right and then trimmed it with a saw followed up with a little sanding to smooth it out. As you can see it didn't take much in my case.

Before

From the front;

From the side;

After

From the side;

Piece removed;

When my tires rubbed i just cut using an angle grinder, and i went about a quarter inch in from where ky wear spots were and did that. Made a nice clean line.n
