Does anyone know when the all new re-designed F150 will come out?

 

dealer told me not for at least another 3 years, but i would guess this body style still has a couple years left before a completely redesigned truck.

Trucks are getting more and more space age.. I hate them for a year then I groww fond of them. I remember when the 04 and 09 came out... ugliest things I had ever seen....... then I bought one. Ford has me wrapped around its little finger.

 

From what I hear this current truck is slotted for a 5 year run with a 2 year option, so 2014 up till 2016. That being said this current model is amazing.

 

I would bet 2015/2016... because they basically just fixed everything in 2011 with the new engines that all blow the competition away. And the current model looks amazing and the interior is perfect.... all in IMO.

 

HA! I am same way! Takes me year to like them.... or is it because when the new ones come out I am in the last generation and I'm jealous?

Thats probably whats going on with me.. I get jealous... My 08 felt ancient when I test drove my '10.

 

I disliked the 97-2003 design trucks but liked the 04-08, dont like the 09-11. I hope they change this sooner than later, I doubt they would let it go to 2016 as-is, that's a long time (7 years).

 

Considering the 09-11 is a refresh(albeit a majot one) of the 04 truck, why not like?

 

The article below is from last August so things could have changed, but it states that the redesign of the Expy that was planned for 2012 has been pushed back. The article also states that the redesign of the F150 will not be until 2015 or 2016. I don't think Ford will wait that long, I think it will be a 2014 model released in 2013. Time will tell!
