I was wondering if anyone has put an aftermarket exhuast on the new ecoboosts yet? curious to hear the results/improvement.

I had also seen where someone on that site already changed his exhaust.

 

Shoulda went with the 5.0 if you wanted an exhaust on it anything on the EB is gonna SLS, unless stainless works comes through and can get rid of the V6 sound and bring out the turbos. There is a person on F150forum who put a magnaflow on his EB, and it SLS big time.

 

man if they made a turbo-back thatd be sick..

I have seena posting where a Taurus SHO eliminated all mufflers and just had straight pipes....still a V6 sound but sounds like it really opened it up. Not sure where I found it but it should be easy to find.

 

Don't do it... one of the few times I'll ever say no. Yuck on a V6

That is the thread, but it looks like he took the videos off and removed them from youtube. Maybe had an issue, or decided it really did SLS?
