Theres a local tune shop by me that did this on their shop mustang and said its only changed at idle, above like 1000 rpms it goes back to the stock tune, no harm done just changes the sound

For me lopping idles sound like low tech. Before the days of variable cams, tuners squeezed the intake and the exhaust lobes closer together to make engines make more power but in doing so, they sacrificed low speed drivability and idle quality. For me, nowadays high performance is a smooth idle, good drivability and the shrill whine of forced induction.

I think it sounds kinda badass on a car, dont think it would be good on a truck tho.

My son's 2003 Mustang with the V6 has the cold startup "lope" that really sounds good.

The F150 5.4 has a very good sound at cold startup. Wish it sounded this good after warmup.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=184UH0auQa4

I think the tune so far is John Lund. U can call evolution performance I think. I'm not sure if the tune is finished good or whatever. I would give them and call and see. I'm not sure who else can tune like that it's still kinda new. Some people like a lope some don't...no big deal...I just wanted to post this up as a FYI. I personally like the lope...I'd like to hear it in person. I have a whippled 06 gt that will lope once I build the motor. If I had a 5.0 id try this tune out.

i have the lopey tune on my 2011gt. love it. but its not for automatics. you guya are gonna get 450 crank hp by following our mods.

your motors will like boost better with the slightly lower compression. your rods are more durable.

there will be boosted f-150 5.0s with 500rwhp everywhere. and they will last. that power level isnt close to the limits. the coyote has opened the flood gates.
