Finally Got My Wife Into Modding Her 2011 SuperCrew Mildly

My wife hasn't quite understood my need to put money into my trucks when they run perfectly fine, until she got her 2011 F150 SuperCrew.

Before the truck came in she said she wanted tint and pipes. So when I was home from Iraq on r and r we picked up her truck. 3 Days later we had the tint and exhaust done. She picked the tint, muffler, tips, and exit locations. She asked me for floor mats and Wet Okele seat covers. She just received the weather tech front and rear mats yesterday. When I get home from Iraq we are going to the Wet Okele store so she can chose the colors. Next on her to do list is a SnugTop SL bed cover and bed rug. Then under rail lights. After the warranty is up she said she wants a mild prerunner suspension and 33s for our trips to the desert in California. My wife says its her truck and her choice on what to do with it, but I get the fun of doing the work. lol

I guess the reason for writing this is just to say I am proud that my wife understands my hobby and now we can share it.

Side Note: Why do people assume that the truck is mine? She said since I have left home to head back to Iraq a few guys have told her that her husband has a nice truck. When she responds that its not her husbands, its hers, they seem awed that a woman would rock a Supercrew with a 6.5ft bed. I think its awesome especially when they ask her whats done to it and she can list of the muffler type and brand and how the exhaust is run. I say nothing is more sexy than a woman in a big truck.

That's awesome every girl I've known doesn't seem to know a modded truck from a stock one even if its lifted... plus finding a girl that actually likes a truck is like finding a needle in a haystack ha ha sounds like you got a good one.

That's awesome. People just don't expect women to own trucks. Thanks for your service.

Nice! My wife owns a horse and has grown up with trucks all her life. She gets annoyed too when people are worried she won't know how to "handle" the big truck lol! She drives and modifies trucks. Heck, she changes her own oil!
