delivery date

I ordered my 2011 lariat screw ecoboost on feb 9th. The dealer told me today that it is scheduled for delivery on April 12th. Are the scheduled dates accurate?

Right now, I'd say not, considering the number of trucks that have been sitting in the factory parking lot waiting for transport. There's really no way to know right now though, as no one has been able to figure out what the hold up is. Just keep checking with your dealer or Ford Sales for updates on the delivery date.

Maybe yes, maybe no. With all of the forums I go to I've heard some people have good luck with the estimations of the dealerships, others are way, way off.

I was on the phone today with my dealer and was told that when a truck comes up on the Ford website and is listed as dealer ordered, it usually shows up within 2 weeks. I know for a fact that is not the case, but I didn't press the issue. The truck I am most likely going to buy isn't even supposed to be built until 4-2 and that would leave 10 days to get it completely across the country. If that day is when the truck actually comes off the line.

My truck is still has not arrived. Dealer says it is still in Michigan but not in Dearborn. It is some where else on a rail car, it has been there for almost two weeks. Man I am getting tired of waiting.
