i would never sell mine, especially for a jeep. friends looking at cj7's and there not even comparable, 1985 cj7 no brake booster or hydraulic clutch which were standard on the 40 series in the mid 70's.

I have bushwackers on my truck and don't have to much scratches at all. But really if your going to put bushwackers on that probably means that your putting bigger tires on, which then also means you probably will do other mods to the truck also. My point being, its probably very unlikely that you will ever take them off once you put them on. Then the only way I could see that happening is if that person sold their truck to someone else, and then its their own personal decision to take them off, they should've considered that when purchasing it. The marks, if any, are behind the Bushwackers, so you don't even see them. Someone wouldn't spend the money on bushwacker if they didn't want them on there....

06yz,
I paid $850 to have my rockers/front/rear/fender flares sprayed and got the extra thrown in for free.

To anyone thinking about doing anykind of Linex or spray on stuff dont skimp out on the extra. My bedliner and the stuff on the outside of my truck look incredibly different. I didn't get the extra on my bedliner and if I didn't have the bed cap I would probably have it resprayed as it hurts my eyes to see it evetrytime I lift the cap and or drop the tailgate.

Is that your truck??? I LOVE IT....sweet wheels and shocks
And maybe its just because your truck is so big but it looks like your tires have a low profile? or atleast compared to most deep tread tires....
but it still looks beast

hardrock,
Yes it is my truck, and thanks you. I love it as well =) The tires are 37x13.50x22 so they on 22x12 Rockstars so the tire is bulged out a bit on the rim and due to the 22" wheel there is a lot less sidewall. They look even smaller now that I have another 3" of lift on the truck that isn't shown in this picture. 14" total lift, and this stupid itch in the back of my brain is not letting me get the magical 40x15.50x22 number out of my head.

My fx4 fenders haven't done that. When I took them off to repaint them, I threw a good coat of wax on underneath. Might have been a few scratches here and there but naw, nothing like that. although i do wish I didn't have the holes in the fenders where they go. I would have taken them off and left them off. I plan to use the herculiner roll-on on them next. Everything I've tried has failed on them.

FWIW, I taped over the holes in my fender before putting the flares on to help keep dirt from entering behind the flares.Good quality electrical tape after a good cleaning checked them 2 years later and still sealed up. Pretty cheap protection in my opinion.

I've done the same thing before. But it was back when I was a teenager and wanted to see remove the emblems and antenna before body work lol. I def agree it is actually good protection- and cost effective! Now if only I could find a set of OEM takeoffs or aftermarket OE style that were worth a crap....
