Factory blocks installed... Do I need an alignment now?

Factory blocks installed... Do I need an alignment now?

I know it's a silly question, but I have no idea if I should get a four wheel alignment after putting rear lift blocks on.

if thats all you did no.

if you have a ton of miles and funky tire wear then maybe its time to get an alignment regardless of the work you just did



and remember to check your U bolts in a couple hundred miles to make sure they didnt loosen up.

I Definitely do not agree. When I changed my rear blocks, (at the same time that I did the front 5100 install) I wound up moving my diff slightly. If left unchecked, the truck would have dog tracked. I guess a quick check is to have a look at your steering wheel right now going down the freeway. If it ain't straight, you definitely need to get the diff lined up again. Or have the wife drive the truck, (i wouldn't choose this option cause she don't get to drive my rig), and drive behind her in her car, and check if it goes down the road straight. Or, just run it through an alignment for peace of mind. Shop around a bit. Alignment prices vary greatly.
