6" lift causing front wheels to stick out farther than rear? 2wd

hey guys, ive noticed in some pictures (but not all?????) that some lift kits, including the procomp 2wd lift that i was considering purchasing, push the front wheels out farther than the rear (1.5" according to a procomp rep). Why is this? i do not like the look of this, makes it look odd. Do all 6" lifts do this? if not, what brands dont? fabtech? thanks alot guys!

Yes, a lot of lift kits widen the front track with. It is because of the new knuckles used in the lift. I'm not sure if all of them, or which ones, do this to the 09-11's.

do a search, we had a thread a couple years back that a few of us compared lifts and how much it widen track width.

my bds kit didn't do it too bad, rancho i think was another good option, fabtech and pro comp kicked them out a decent amount.

you raise the center of gravity it only makes sense to widen it for stability and safety

if it bothers you so much, get a set of 1.5" wheel spacers for the rear.
