The etching is performed with a special template sticker and an acid based fluid from a roll-on applicator. There should be zero problem's with any corrosion.

 

I dont mind the glass etch, its the "Wheel Etch" that upsets me. I put a down payment on my 11' FX4 so my dealer could get it from another city, so I never seen the truck until I picked it up, everything was done, paperwork, insurance etc, so I wasnt aware of the etch work...

 

I would have a f---ing fit . I have never had an Insurance company ask me if i have vehicle etching, and then offer me a discount. Post some pics if you can.

The window etching looks good and is done right, but the etching on the wheels looks like someone heated up a fine tip screwdriver and just did it in their own handwriting. Ill take some pictures tomorrow and try to post them...
