I'm anxious to get a new Ecoboost, but am having trouble finding the right one. I'd like an FX4 crew lux, without navigation, in gray or black. Seems like they're rare as hen's teeth, and I don't want to wait 6+ weeks for an order. Does anyone know a way to search dealer inventory more than a few dealers at a time? Best search tool I've found is Ford's website, but you're limited to the 5 dealers closest to the zip you enter. Any help is appreciated!

 

Go to the dealership ask them to find it for you. Or order it and wait..... Good things come to those who wait. If you are going to spend 40k on a truck I would order the exact one you want and get your money's worth. Waiting sucks, but it is only 6 weeks.

 

I agree and thats exactly why I ordered mine. The 6-8 weeks isn't a big deal in the long run...specially when you get the EXACT truck you want.

 

call ford and they will do a search for you. i talked to someone in marketing IIRC and she did a search for me.

or go to dealerconnection.com you can choose a city and all dealers come up, click search inventory and it pulls it straight up to the choices so it doesn't take as long as just going to each page and navigating to where you want to be.

 

I wanted the same thing and ended up ordering it. All the ones around me had the navigation system in it and I didn't want it or the moonroof.

 

yep, every FX4 EB has nav around here also..hopefully the dealers will start ordering non nav trucks. Or possibly, by the time I'm ready, one of the loaded FX4's will be on a fire sale
