Digital clock not working after radio install

After I had a Pioneer head unit installed in my 2010 F150, non-nav, the digital clock does not display. In it's place is the "F150 Built Ford Tough" display that stays on continuously. What is needed to get the clock working again?

Remove the Pioneer unit and replace the stock head unit. That display is just that, a display. The brains were in the parts you removed to make room for the Pioneer.

This is why I'm leaving the stock HU in, and connecting my amp and speakers to a sound processor instead.

I hadn't considered that the display was connected to the stock head unit. Thanks for waking me up.
