Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anybody on here with a 2009-10 ford f150 have the edge cs, or cts, and what they think of it and if u could show some pics of it mounted inside your truck. thanks.

powerhungryperformance.com they have it available just not on the website. same as the edge but with custom tunes.

there are better options than an edge, i'm a big fan of SCT xcal's but the downside is no gauges but for a gas truck with no forced induction or making huge power numbers it's not really important.

An actual tranny and engine temp gauge would be nice though. I've been contemplating one as well, just worried about the warranty and screwing my tranny up (I don't have a lead foot but heard horror stories)

you're only getting ~30 hp gain, you SHOULDN'T mess anything up. you're not increasing any temperatures noticeably by tuning these trucks so any gauges you get are by choice not needed. what i'm trying to say is don't choose what tuner you will buy just because it has gauges. get a tuner from who you feel is the best tuner out there and then decide on gauges.

as for warranty, i know with my 07 i never had any issues. just put it back to stock and pull it all out (takes ~3 minutes if your slow) and drive ~50 miles to reset everything in your computer and you're good to go to the dealer. i think i only made it 10 miles un tuned when my rear end broke and the dealer didn't find it.

edit: you will really like how your tranny shifts tuned with those larger tires. it makes a HUGE improvement.

I have a CTS in my 2010 FX4 and have some pictures of it installed in my album (2010 FX4) under my profile if you want to see what it looks like. I am not running a tune right now on it as I am waiting for the tranny tuning update from Edge to be released within the next few months and then I am going to send mine to PHP for a custom tune as that is where I purchased it from.

I plan to purchase the Insight CS when my Lariat comes in because I learned to love my Edge Evo for the actual vehicle speed, rpm, instant mpg (a glorified vacuum gage) and since ford does a good job of average, I'll change the last one to boost. I'll rattle can the mount to match the dash and be all set.

What happened to your rear end? And id like to see the actual temps just for towing my boat and maybe off roadng, but for the most part I wouldn't use it.

i never really found out, the dealer had never seen a rear end destroyed like it. all the teeth were soft metal and rolled over. i had the smaller rear end and i treated my truck hard so i'm sure most of it was my doing, but it was still in warranty so it was covered even with the truck lifted. when the rear end went it showed no signs the night prior.
