fox racing shox anybody

has anyone bought fox racing shox for the new f150's? i realize they are in the raptor but im wondering if anybody has put them in a regular f150.. would like to buy but wondering on ride quality & it says 0-2.5 lift wondering what people have them cranked to.. will these fit 35's?
is this a good buy? http://www.offroadwarehouse.com/prod...roductID/40572 or can i get them cheaper?

Those are sweet shocks, but they are designed for off-road use. Dont get me wrong, they will ride great on-road, but if you dont need the functionality of the reserve reservoir then the Bilsteins will work just as well.

I doubt you would like the ride of a coilover cranked up 3", even 2" can be a very rough ride. Plus that is an expensive leveling kit... If that is what you want, go for it; but there are better ways to spend your money if leveling is all you want.

yes i wanted it for the level but i also wanted it to be capable of doing what the raptor does as far as wheel travel.. but if it's a bad/costly idea i wont do it im just asking

If your looking for the raptor type setup I'd look at something long travel. It is going to be costly but that is really they only way to achieve raptor like usefulness. In terms of long travel you could build one from scratch that could outperform the raptor!

But as a leveling kit you would lose too much droop travel to be able to replicate anything like a raptor. A raptor has what, like 12-14" in the front? a truck with a leveling kit might be lucky to have 1,2,3" of droop travel depending on the size..
