Warranty cover wheels?

Good luck with it. I'm on the second set of wheels and these are already doing the same thing as the ones that came on it. The new ones started doing it after the first snow that they went through in mid-March. Whatever de-icer that ODOT is putting down just kills these wheels. Not real pleased either. Not sure as to what I'm going to do. I will, like others have posted, wait until winter is done. I'm thinking that come early May, I'll go back and warranty claim another set. Looks like I'm going to have to run steel wheels in the winter or ask Ford to give me a different wheel as these just aren't going to cut it. I wonder if the 18s would have this problem. Steering clear of all of the chrome plated ones...

If you guys can relate this to the De-Icer being used I would think you would have a claim with the county or city that is laying the stuff down. If its the State it should be brought to their attention as I'm sure damaging privately owned vehicles will not be something they want to hear about. Especially if it is not handled and taken to a local news agency to follow up with.

I wonder if the 2011 20's will do the same thing I saw some gunmetal 20's that looked pretty good I'd like darker wheel on my black FX4 but I dont know if Ford would do that. Just got the new wheels today, hope its done snowing.
