Simply put, the 5.0's 360/380 ratings are majorly, majorly conservative. 385/400 is much closer to reality for the 5.0.

As far as the 5.0 vs Hemi, there's Youtube vids of this. The 2009+ Hemi and the 5.0 are neck and neck.

I hate to say it for the dodge lovers but 5.0's actually are hemi's...They too have hemispherecal heads...Fail dodge

...while I love all the stats and passion, and even recently owned a new gen Hemi Crew 4x4 myself and loved driving it, owned my share of 5.4s over the years, and looking at buying another F150 with the new engines, it absolutely amazes me with all the "I am more right than you" posts. Can't we all just get along and agree we have awesome Fords and great engines now!
