I think I got hosed on the coupon deal. I requested a brochure, got it in the mail today, but no coupon. Bah!

 

request another one in your wife's name. And then another in your Son/Daughter's name.

 

If I do that and end up getting a coupon, won't the coupon then be in their name and hence no good to me when I go to buy a truck?

 

When I got home from Afghanistan last week, my brochure had just come in and there was a $750 coupon from Ford in it. I didn't even need it as my local dealer already knew that Ford had sent me the coupon and had included it in the rebates I was given. I did lose a $1,000 rebate by going with the Lariat instead of the FX2 but I still only paid about $1,000 more for the Lariat than I was originally offered on the FX2.

That is why I am in a 2011 Lariat Super Crew now instead of an FX2 Super Cab.
