Wow major fail by new dealership.

Angry Wow major fail by new dealership.

Hey guys I just wrote today about my bad encounter with my first dealership, now the second dealership not only did not resolve my issues, but look what I found in my backseat! Ford will be getting these pictures tmrw.

jeeze the entire seat is stained.

my dealer is just as crappy. its a shame that fords reputation has to be tarnish by a bunch of in-breads

That's unfortunate.

How is Ford's rep tarnished by the ineptitude of a dealership?

Yeah, these dealer's need to be held to a much higher standard. I just wanted to see how Ford handle's this issue tmrw, I'll be send photos along with a video of everything.

I think what marshal was getting at is people associate Ford and dealership's as one.

I know, and that's a fail. A bad dealer doesn't affect Ford's quality. There is no excuse what happened to your vehicle though. They'd be getting an earful and more form me. You'll be covered for sure.

be sure you CC the service adviser, and the service manager in your email to Ford to keep the dealership in the loop, and see how they (as a group of everyone) will resolve this issue.

Don't be rude, but be firm on your expectations/demands. Trust me I work at a Land Rover dealership, and if you're easy to work with we are much more likely to go out of our way to resolve an issue.

Ford does not own the dealership. Each is an independent business. It is not Ford's fault that the dealership or you left the window down

Even though they are all independent dealerships, they are the front line representation of the Ford motor company in the field. So I agree they do have impact on Ford's reputation.


BTW, it is in-bred not bread. We are talking about a disgusting practice that causes genealogical defects, not a food issue.

First I did not leave the window down, second I never said it was Ford's fault. If you read a previous thread of mine you will see I have been dealing with Ford directly to get these issue's resolved because of previous issues with a dealership, this is the new dealership Ford sent me to directly. Ford wants to hear the good and the bad when it comes to there dealerships and in my case I have yet to have a good experience yet. My truck has been in the shop many many many times for the same issues and they have yet to be resolved and this is just add insult to injury.

Because the dealership that preformed work on my truck left the window open and the truck outside last night when it snowed.
