Part of me says it looks good, the other just has a problem with a body lift on a raptor. And i agree, needs those pipes repositioned.

Anybody know if the raptor hood fits on the other f150's? I know the fenders are wider, but i think the hoods are the same.

Ruined that poor raptor! a BL has no place near a vehicle such as the raptor... it was bound to happen though, so was a leveling kit on a raptor... The truck comes with an excellent setup from the factory, sure it could be improved in a million different ways depending on what you want to do with it on-road or off-road, but some are taking it in the complete wrong direction (BL's, LK's, and 20" rims...)

DO NOT WANT. I have the same truck (black crew), but bone stock.

You can get 2.5" of lift in front by going to the top spring perch on a Raptor. And you can get at least 1" if not more going to Deaver springs and retaining the factory block.

Way to add a bunch more shear load to the body mounts of a truck designed to be jumped. I guess you have to cross your fingers that both pieces land in the same place.

Why is the leveling kit such a bad thing?

The leveling kit is free with the Raptop. The Fox coilover has 2 grooves in it to raise the front. It was design that way, so tell why it's such a bad thing?

I'm well aware of the perches for adjustment, but like a steel LK spacer it's taking away droop travel which is crucial to a baja truck. Sure it still has plenty, but not what it was designed with and i doubt it would perform as hot when jumping around in the desert at the highest adjustment. If you wanted a 'taller' baja type truck, get a real one such as the EB torture truck MM drove in the baja 1000.

At the 1" adjustment your probably still fine, but above that I would not be comfortable. Its my personal opinion things on the truck could be improved such as lighting, far more superior suspension setups, etc... but as the truck sits from the factory its perfect and ready to go; no need for more lift.

How did they ruin the Raptor? 2" inches of tire diameter = 1" of clearance at the diffs, better approach and departure angles. They only lifted 20% of the vehicle's weight, so they really did not change the center of gravity. They did that with less than $700 worth of parts and less than a day's labor.

If you're going to tell me that a body lift has no use in a desert truck, tell that to Camburg, who have a 3" body lift on their Tundra that they race in Baja.

I'm sure the rake you see on the stock Raptor is for ON-ROAD performance, towing capacity and not off-road.

But that's only my opinion.
