Cool Price comparison

Out of curiosity the other day I decided to ask my local dealer about Costco and X-plan pricing for a 2011 FX4. For me, the out the door price using the X-plan would have been $35,748 and the Costco price out the door would be $35,486 which kind of surprised me.

Just thought some of you might like to know.

Not really sure but it's a Super Cab with the 5.0L Ingot Silver. Here's the web page from the dealer: http://www.jerrysflm.com/new/Ford/20...477d9b8cc4.htm

I know the X-Plan process, but how does the Costco process work?

for 35K, its not a good price. The only real option is the sunroof. The msrp on the base FX4 super cab is around 36500, and supercrew is around 39500. For that truck i would make sure the price is around 30K not including any incentives.

I went here: http://www.costcoauto.com and filled out what I was looking for and the dealership contacted me.

Here is a link for the overview of the program: http://www.costcoauto.com/new_cars/h...s/default.aspx

I'd like to get that truck for $30K not including incentives. Got any tips on how to go about it?

Read this, https://www.f150online.com/forums/bu...d-vehicle.html

But basically, just say you want to see the dealer invoice for the vehicle and make an offer between 0 and 500$ over that. Then factor in your x/costco plan. I will be buying a new truck at the end of this year or early next year. I have been doing alot of research to know how to get the best price.

I don't agree with that. I got my 2010 for $950 under X-plan. I called the dealer told them I was X-Plan but wanted to pay $40k before incentives (sticker was almost $46k). I said I don't care if you put it through as X-Plan, No Plan or Purple Plan here is my offer and I'll pick it up tomorrow.
