Platinum Interior Questions/Pics?

Hey y'all I need a hand here. I need to know exactly what color the interior of the Platinum is. The interwebs says it is grey or black. The down loadable 2011 brochure shows grey and brown. The dealership did not have a 2011 with the black option on the lot. There was a 2010 that had the brown with black trim and to me it looked like anus! Who in their right mind at Ford thought that brown with black trim was a good idea? The dealership is supposed to place my order tomorrow morning and I have the black speced out but that's gonna change it the black leather is really brown.

Has anyone here seen the real color for the black Platinum interior? Pics would be greatly appreciated.

the black interior does have black carpet but the seats are Sienna Brown. That's how it's been since 09. Combined with the darker wood trim, I think it looks sweet and I get lots on compliments on it. If that's not for you, the new Steel Grey interior (new for 2011) looks pretty good too.

Thanks, don't take this the wrong way but the brown and black just doesn't do it for me in the least bit especially with a gray exterior. I'm not the most fashionable person in the world but I do know a few things such as not wearing black shoes with a brown belt it just clashes. When I saw this combo at the dealership that was the very first thing that poped into my head. I doubt it would ever leave. The brown leather would have looked so much better with tan or brown trim and carpet similar to the KR. I really liked the idea of black leather but looks like I am going gray.

It is a light grey with some 2 tone accents. Atleast it was for the 2010 I rode in

I would go to ebay and put F150 2011 Platinum and you can find what you need. That is how I knew which interior I wanted. I think the black one is the way to go for me, I am not a big fan of the grey.

Droid, those pics don't apply as they have changed the interior, I wish you could still get the seats in Sand Stone!

Your opinion is your opinion, but honestly...you are the first person I have ever met that did not think the Sienna Brown interior was sexy. Every single person that has been in my truck has thought so....

Thanks guys, the order for my grey truck was placed today. I really wanted to have black leather seats but that's not in the cards.

The brown leather itself looks good but not with the black trim. The KR uses Castiono/Chaperral leather that is similar to the Seinna in the Platinum and the lighter accents look so much better. The color combo used on the Platinum just doesn't float my boat.

I went there but ended up buying from Crain in WLR. They gave me the same price plus $4k more on my trade in. That made the decision of where to buy pretty easy.

In a few more weeks your truck will have a twin running around town, till then I'll be rolling in a black and tan KR. If you see me give a wave, preferably with all of your fingers.

Mine is a cross between grey and tan. It was a B**** trying to find floor mats that I liked, and matched. In the end I found some Michelen ones at Sears that were orginally 24.99 each, marked down to 2.98. They had every color you wanted, as long as you wanted grey. So for that price I couldn't really be picky. I only wanted them for the snow in the winter anyway, so I have nice dark grey floor mats on a tan floor. It's kinda like wearing black socks with shorts and white shoes.

Here they are a Wally World
