Well I've made a decision. I just now found out that the Bedtred is not the same base, it's foam is not the same thinkness. The bedrug is 3/4" thick and the bedtred is only 1/4". The bedrug will likely handle handle dents better since it's overall thicker. Plus the bedrug will be easier on my bad knee. So if it doesn't work out, it's simple enough to get rid of it.

One of the biggest reasons is that the bedrug is proven and has a great rep and has been around for years. Even some of the bedrug dealers didn't know what the Bedtred was.

I really like the fact that the tailgate section can pull off, and fold over so the tailgate can be removed.

Thanks everyone for your help.

My priority over everything is the cover being water proof. All the folding covers I found reviews on, leaked some water which is unacceptable for my needs. A bit hard to sleep in a wet sleeping bag. Besides pulling my camper, I also love to tent camp in the places a camper can't go.

Thanks for the suggestion though, appreciate it.

You don't like the handle? I think it's a great idea.

I have a drop-in in my 94 and it has rub some of the ppaint off, but there is no corrosion caused holes, light surface rust. In the future I'll go with the Line-X especially if thay can colorize the material.
That's odd. I got mine soiled with spilled food, wet with water, spilled oil and other stuff I wished hadn't gotten on there.

Each time the stuff cleaned off relatively easy, and never had the problem with it staying wet or taking a long time to dry out.

IMO you would be well served to take the 2.5 hour drive to get your bed sprayed, I drove 1.5 hoursone way.
I also put a Ford Bed liner over the Rhino, it looks like the trunk of a car now.
How much was the Ford liner?
