what kind MPG's are you guys getting 6inch lifts and 35"s?
I got 17.5 coming back from texas after i met fx4forlife79. Thats running at least 70+ mph the whole way on the highway. i only had about 1500 miles on it at that time.....2010 screw 6.5'bed. fx4 3.73s
You happen to get the lift installed yet?
Heck no. Im still working on rounding up some tires for it first. trying to sell my TG's.. i think im going to tackle this project when it gets a little warmer here. next week i seen -3 degrees in MO! I buddy of mine has a big shop with a truck lift and he owes me some work since i did his concrete in his garage.
Certain aspects of it like the wheel bearings, hubs, etc is probably from running 37's for nearly 65k, somethings where starting to show in the last thousand miles of the 37's; putting the larger 38x15.50's on aggrevated the issues. Some of it like the axles going south was due to a REALLY poor installation job, which in turn (according to both the axle mechanic and the transmission mechanic) led to the TQ/Trans/TC going south... Its a damn mess. Just some normal wear and tear from the sheer mass of the lift and tires even with proper maintenance and be careful who you let work on crucial parts of your truck.
you think I would get the same with a 6 inch lift and 35's?
how do you know your mileage if you haven't corrected your speedo/odometer using a tuner?

Your right. I'm not really sure. Just going by what the computer says. I have been wanting a tuner but every time I find the extra funds I spend it on something else.
