STX and XL on bottom tier trucks and come with base model dash harness

you're gonna have to tap 6 wires on the dash and extend them to get it done. One day when i have nothing better to do, ill post the write up for the wiring portion of what you need to tap.

Do XLT's have the ductwork necessary to work with the flow-through console? I like the console, and having the extra vent registers is nice for passengers. I just hate the shifter being there. I'd definitely make up a cover for the empty Shifter hole.

Hey patman my console I purchased doesn't appear to have the wiring harness in it will my shifter work without this I purchased the console shifter cable and the shifter brand new from tascaparts.com excellent group of people over there. I should receive the rest of my parts thur or fri and I'll be planning to tear into it sat morning. Just need to know what the console wiring is for just ambient lighting and the lighter and aux switches I presume

My '10 XLT Scab has rear passenger vents located under the driver and passenger front seats.

Don't know if the flo-thru models have those or not.

Seems to me the flo-thru's loose a lot of front floor space for very little gain, if any.

Okay well after a little trial and error me and my wife uncle figured it out all except when the connector isn't plugged into the original location it locks my key in place so I think I'm going to just tap into the wires further down and leave the existing plug connected

I know this was 9 years ago but is there any chance someone could tell me on my 2013 super screw lariat if I need to make the harness to connect the shifter, and how does the cable hook up?
