Congrats on your new truck 5point4 !

I want a 2011 with the 5.0 Coyote engine bad. This is the first time I have seriously considered buying a new truck.

Since I am a die-hard bracket racer, mine would have to be a reg. cab shortbed 2wd with the 5.0 and L/S 3.55s tho.

those stock heads and tails look great against the white....tint looks awesome.

And I'd sell myself to have your interior.....Wish I could upgrade to a new FX4 but just can't get past the fact mine is almost paid off....hopefully will upgrade in a few years to a brand new one.

I don't see anything special about the interior. You must have cloth and desire leather??? If your truck is paid off - relish it and realize that most everyone who is driving new trucks are making payments, including myself. Can't wait for the day muy truck is paid-off. Hopefully my last truck! Afterall, I am 40 y/o. I don't see why this truck shouldn't last me 20+ years. The key to any possession is to re-desire what you have and not want for what you dont. I do like the bronze wheels with the off-white color. Looks nice!

yep I have cloth...wanted black leather but couldn't find one in my area and price range that had it....I also wanted the power sliding rear and sunroof but had to comprimise....I hope to have a brand new F150 by the time I'm 29....turn 26 in February so its easily achievable. I just can't justify a car payment over $450 a month....some guys paying $600+ a month is just insane

Hey 5point4, lets here about the new options added for 2011. What are your thoughts on operation, functionality, good, bad, etc. Not sure if your FX2 has all of these?

1. Tilt/Telescopic Wheel
2. Integrated key/fob
3. 4.2 LCD Cluster
4. Navigation / Radio Sound
5. Interior overall
6. Divers mirror with puddle
7. Revamped transmission c/w select shift
8. etc...
9. etc...

Thanks

Just a little something that really surprises me is with all the tearing up and stop and go driving city only it showing 14.2!! I did take one 65 mph trip around the loop and it kept going up slowly..was up to 22 after about 5 minutes...well see soon. Who know how accurate the reading is though.

As far as mods..none...I've been down that road with every other vehicle I've owned and always regret it some how...start hearing things and ya just wonder...never found a tuner that won't ping(others don't hear it but I always do...) so staying stock for me. I wanted to lower the back as well, but messes with the geometry of the suspension and I hate messing with the headlight aiming. As far as the bars, I really want to rip them off but they save my seats lol!! Not sure what I'll do there yet.

Thanks for all the comments guys...I didn't even realize my wifes flex was in the background. Lol.

Awesome. Favorite part of the new ones are those revamped 20' wheels.

I love the way the 5.0 sounds under a load.

It appears from his pics the 2011 fx2 leather is no longer the sport leather. Looks like the same leather in the fx4s. If so that is a good thing IMO. I didn't care for the feeling of the 2010 leather in fx2
